SBA Valuations Document Request List

As per SOP 50 10 6 p.262: If the amount being financed (including any 7(a), 504, seller, or other financing) minus the appraised value of real estate and/or equipment being financed is greater than $250,000 or if there is a close relationship between the buyer and seller (e.g., transactions between existing owners or family members), the Lender must obtain an independent business valuation from a qualified source. The business valuation must include the individual's conclusion of value.

  1. Three (3) years of business tax returns

  2. Year-to-date profit & loss statement (P&L)

  3. Current balance sheet

  4. Purchase agreement or LOI

  5. If available, copy of the account receivables aging report (A/R)

  6. If available, copy of the depreciation/ fixed assets schedule

  7. If applicable, copy of the real estate appraisal

  8. Completed business valuation questionnaire: click here to download the file

Business Valuation Document Request List (All Other Purposes)

Please provide the following information:

  1. Five (5) years of business tax returns or the maximum number of years available

  2. Year-to-date profit & loss statement (P&L)

  3. Current balance sheet

  4. The company’s legal governing documents (e.g., Operating Agreement, Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, etc.)

  5. If available, copy of the account receivables aging report (A/R)

  6. If available, copy of the depreciation/ fixed assets schedule

  7. If applicable, copy of the real estate appraisal
